Scenes from Project New Orleans
During the 2007 Clinical Congress, 180 volunteers worked to prepare a new medical clinic in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans' historic Bywater neighborhood. They contributed 720 service hours, which resulted in 24,000 square feet of demolition and seven dumpsters filled with debris. Their work resulted in an approximate savings of $60,000 to the Daughters of Charity.
